Nutri-rich (Biofortified) rice varieties:

  • CR Dhan - 310 (protein rich) and CR Dhan-311
  • Zinco Rice MS (26 - 28 ppm Zinc)
  • CG ZR - 1 (22-24 ppm Zinc)
Resistant varieties (Pest & Disease):
Asha, Usha, Samridhi, Ruchi, AbhayaKranti, Bangoli-5, Mahamaya, Bamleswari, DanteswariSamleswari, Chandrahasni, Karmamahsuri.
  • Blast areas: Aditya, Tulsi, Abhaya, IR 64, IR 36.
  • Bacterial Blight areas: Mahamaya, Bamleshwari.
ICAR recommended varieties:
  • Cultivation of high-yielding and drought tolerant early varieties like Poornima, Vandana, Danteswari and Indira barani
  • Cultivation in rainfed shallow lands with MTU1010, Bambleswari, R1027, IR 64, Swarna and with the hybrid, Indira Sona.
  • Cultivation of gall midge resistant rice varieties like Mahamaya, Abhaya, Mahamaya, Danteshwari, Chandrahasini, Samleshwari, Karma Mahsuri.
Other ruling varieties: Swarna, Abhya, Kranti, MTU 1010, MTU 1001, Mahamaya, Karma Mahsuri, Bamleswari, Chandrahasini, Kalinga-3, Aditya, Vanprabha, Vandana, IR 36, IR 64, HMT- Sona.
2 NRM based module Application/use of bioagents (likeTrichogramma spp, NPV, BT, Trichodermaviride and Pseudomonas) along with complete package of practice at farmers’ level in rice and pulses.
3 Horticulture based module Demonstration of low-cost protected cultivation of vegetables such as coloured capsicum, cucumber and tomato.
Note: Varieties will be finalized as per the market demand and experts advise.
4 Livestock based module Demonstration of scientific goat farming with the introduction of Sirohi, Jamnapari, Black bengal and Barbari breeds. (a unit of 10:1 per farm family and Rs 90000 – 100000/annum income will be generated)
Note: Number of animals will be finalized as per the farmer’s resource base and experience.
